INCIDENTS:

 

Aggravated Assault at Burmont and Steel Roads on 8/10 @ 0043 hours - Victim reported that he was assaulted by two white males and they threatened him with a knife. The victim gave a description of the suspects and the officers were able to locate them. Both actors did attempt to flee but the officers did catch the suspects. W/M/16 was arrested for aggravated assault, terroristic threats, weapons and loitering, and prowling at night. W/M/16 was arrested for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, lurking at night/eluding police, and underage drinking. 

 

Fraud at the unit block of N. Concord Avenue on 8/10 @ 1155 hours - victim reported that an unknown person opened a credit card account without his permission or knowledge.

 

Theft at the unit block of Myrtle Avenue on 8/11 @ 0749 hours - eight unlocked vehicles were entered in the area - GPS's, i-pod, laptop case, loose change and personal information was stolen.

 

Theft at Wawa (unit block of E. Eagle Road) on 8/11 @ 1158 hours - a gas powered blower was stolen from the bed of a truck. 

 

Theft at the 100 block of Sycamore Avenue on 8/11 @ 0929 hours - Unlocked vehicle was entered - i-pod and loose change were stolen.

 

Retail Theft at Kohl's (200 block of West Chester Pike) on 8/11 @ 1849 hours - Danny Brusco, W/M/27, 2500 block of Marshall Road, Drexel Hill, was cited for the retail theft of $45 worth of merchandise.

 

Theft at the100 block of Sycamore Road on 8/11 @ 0910 hours - Vehicle was entered - loose change was stolen.

 

Theft at the Sunoco (1300 block of West Chester Pike) on 8/11 @ 1216 hours - license plate was stolen.

 

Vandalism at the Southmore Courts Apartments (2000 block of E. Darby Road) on 8/11 @ 1139 hours - an unknown person painted the fire escape without authorization.

 

Vandalism at the unit block of Waverly Road on 8/11 @ 1853 hours - broken beer bottles were in the driveway.

 

Liquor Law Violation at the unit block of Claremont Boulevard on 8/11 @ 1828 hours - Officers were dispatched for two intoxicated juveniles. Upon arrival the officer observed the one female stumbling to the ground and she was unable to speak clearly. 2/W/F's were cited for underage drinking and the one female was transported to the hospital for treatment due to her level of intoxication.

 

Theft at the 500 block of Grand Avenue on 8/12 @ 1047 hours - registration sticker was removed from a vehicle.

 

Fraud at the unit block of Vernon Road on 8/12 @ 1839 hours - Victim responded to an advertisement on Craig's List for a rental property. The victim discovered that the advertisement was a scam and that the property was not for rent.

 

Vandalism at the 200 block of Fairlamb Avenue on 8/12 @ 0934 hours - vehicle was keyed.

 

Burglary (forced) at the 3600 block of Darby Road on 8/13 @ 1450 hours - Victim reported that her front door was forced open and jewelry and laptops were stolen.

 

Theft at the unit block of Myrtle Avenue on 8/13 @ 1656 hours - Vehicle was entered - GPS was stolen.

 

Theft at the 1000 block of Hunters Lane on 8/13 @ 2110 hours - Two unlocked vehicles were entered - loose change and AAA card was stolen. 

 

Vandalism at the 2500 block of Prescott Road on 8/13 @ 1003 hours - residence was pelted with eggs.

 

Burglary (no force) at the 200 block of Highland Lane on 8/14 @ 0925 hours - Victim reported that a handgun and prescription medications were stolen.

 

Vandalism at the unit block of W. Mercer Avenue on 8/14 @ 0951 hours - an unknown person poured something into his pepper plant causing it to wither.

 

Bicycle Theft at the 100 block of Shawnee Road on 8/15 @ 1348 hours.

 

Vandalism at the 400 block of Harrington Road on 8/15 @ 1126 hours - vehicle was keyed.

 

Theft at the 700 block of Oakview Road on 8/16 @ 2039 hours - resident owner reported that a person known to her stole several items from her home.

 

Public Intoxication at the 2300 block of Belmont Avenue on 8/16 @ 1456 hours- officer was dispatched for a report of an unconscious person as a result of an overdose. James Bastas, W/M/34, 100 block Drexel Road, Ardmore, was cited for Public Intoxication and transported to the hospital for treatment.

 

Narcotics at Devon and Earlington Roads on 8/16 @ 1240 hours - while conducting a routine traffic stop the driver and passenger produced false identification and later admitted to be in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Danielle Sweeney and Dominique Suero were arrested and charged.

 

Simple Assault on Wynnewood Road on 8/17 @ 1837 hours - Victim reported he was involved in a road rage incident while driving on Wynnewood Road. Victim stopped his vehicle in the roadway to allow another vehicle to pass. The driver, a white male, stepped out of the vehicle and knocked off the victims glasses and punched him in the face.

 

Disorderly Conduct at Merwood Lane on 8/17 @ 1429 hours - while on patrol officers observed juveniles with what appeared to be a semi automatic pistol. After close inspection it was determined that it was a toy gun with the orange safety tip painted black. Juveniles were released to their parents.
