INCIDENTS:

 

Vandalism at the 1300 block of Harrington Road on 7/7 @ 2031 hours - Victim reported that sugar was poured in the gas and oil tank of his motorcycle.

 

Burglary (attempted) at the 200 block of Oxford Hill Lane on 7/8 @ 1711 hours - Victim reported a screen on a first floor window had been cut. Entry was not gained due to the window being locked.

 

Theft at the Haverford Library (1600 block of Darby Road) on 7/8 @ 1304 hours - i-pod touch was stolen from an unattended backpack.

 

Vandalism at the 1600 block of Colony Lane on 7/8 @ 0646 hours - garden lights were damaged.

 

Fraud at the 400 block of Achille Road on 7/9 @ 1619 hours - Victim reported that she gave a contractor a personal check for work to be completed on her home. The suspect cashed the check and never completed the work.

 

Vandalism at Chatham Park School (400 block of Allston Road) on 7/9 @ 0226 hours - three windows were broken.

 

Vandalism at the 100 block of Farwood Road on 7/9 @ 1753 hours - wind chimes and two solar ground lights were damaged.

 

Bicycle Theft at Haverford College (unit block of Hannum Drive) on 7/10 @ 1920 hours.

 

Theft at the 400 block of Greenview Lane on 7/10 @ 1342 hours - unsecured shed was entered - lawn mower, weed wacker and a LED lights were stolen.  

 

Fraud at the 3000 block of Hermosa Lane on 7/10 @ 1507 hours - Victim reported that an unknown person made unauthorized transactions on her credit card. 

 

Vandalism at the 2700 block of Belmont Avenue on 7/10 @ 0838 hours - Victim reported that both driver and passenger side mirror pieces had been removed from his vehicle.

 

Vandalism at the 300 block of Brentwood Road on 7/10 @ 0107 hours - residence was egged.

 

Vandalism at the 2900 block of Rising Sun Road on 7/10 @ 1847 hours - passenger side mirror was broken on the victim's vehicle.

 

Vandalism at the 300 block of Brentwood Road on 7/10 @ 2213 hours - residence was egged.

 

Liquor Law Violation at S. Manoa and S. Eagle Roads on 7/10 @ 0304 hours - Officers observed a suspicious vehicle make an unexplained stop. The Officer conducted a vehicle stop and the driver stated he was driving two unknown juvenile's home. The two juveniles fled on foot when the driver was being questioned. Both of the girls were found in a nearby bush. W/F/16 and a B/F/16 were cited for underage drinking and disorderly conduct.

 

Public Drunkenness at the 200 block of W. Westwood Park Drive on 7/10 @ 0540 hours - Officers were dispatched to the residence for a domestic. The complainant reported that his wife came to the residence and began to hit him. The victim did not want to press charges. Officers observed Amy Gardner walking down the street and conducted a pedestrian stop. She was highly intoxicated and uncooperative. Gardner, W/F/35, 200 block of W. Westwood Park Drive was cited for public drunkenness.

 

Simple Assault at the 300 block of E. Hathaway Lane on 7/11 @ 0152 hours - Police were dispatched to the residence for a 911 hang up. Upon arrival the officer located a woman standing outside the residence. The victim stated that her husband was intoxicated and that he had pushed her into a fan and punched her in the face. The victim had swelling around her lip and redness around her neck. Samuel Mantegna was arrested and charged.

 

Vandalism at the 100 block of Brookline Boulevard on 7/11 @ 1135 hours -vehicle window was broken.

 

Vandalism at the 500 block of valley Road on 7/11 @ 0845 hours - Victim reported that an unknown person threw dog feces, children's toys and a metal pole into his pool. 

 

Vandalism at Earlington and Covington Roads on 7/11 @ 2312 hours - vehicle was egged.

 

Assault at the 100 block of E. Township Line Road on 7/12 @ 0349 hours - Officers were dispatched to the Llanerch Diner for the report of a domestic assault that occurred in Haverford Township. The victim reported that she was attacked by her boyfriend. The officer observed markings on her torso, arms, and legs and around her neck. Michael Dolphin was arrested and charged.

 

Theft at Eagle Road and Grasslyn Avenue on 7/12 @ 1338 hours - medication was stolen from a vehicle.

 

Theft at the unit block of Colonial Road on 7/12 @ 1045 hours - Victim reported that a family member stole stocks and bonds from his deceased mother.

 

Vandalism at the unit block of Whitemarsh Road on 7/12 @ 2105 hours - grill was knocked over, breaking off the bottom door.

 

Fraud at the 200 block of Golfview Road on 7/13 @ 1235 hours - Victim reported that and male unknown to him called him numerous times and convinced him to wire $850 to Jamaica in return for $250,000. When the victim did not receive the $250,000 he realized it was a scam.
