INCIDENTS:

 

Robbery (attempted) on the Bus Route at Belmont Avenue on 7/21 @ 2320 hours - Victim reported that a white male and a black male attempted to steal his cell phone. When the victim refused the suspect hit him in the back of the head with a board. 

 

Vandalism at the 200 block of Fairlamb Avenue on 7/21 @ 2345 hours - vehicle was keyed.

 

Criminal Mischief at Taddeo's Greenhouse (2300 block of St. Denis Lane) on 7/21 @ 2208 hours - Officers were dispatched for a vandalism in progress. Upon arrival a white male and a white female fled. The officer did make contact with the female and she had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on her person. The officer did observe the same male involved in the vandalism in the Wawa store and he was also under the influence of alcohol. W/F/17 was cited for underage drinking and a W/M/16 was arrested for criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, loitering and prowling, underage drinking and township curfew ordinance.    

 

Burglary (attempted) at the unit block of Kathleen Court on 7/22 @ 1646 hours.

 

Bicycle Theft at Hilltop Field (1300 block of Bon Air Terrace) on 7/22 @ 0857 hours.  

 

Identity Theft at the unit block of Columbus Avenue on 7/22 @ 1616 hours - Victim reported that an unknown person opened a verizon account in her name without her permission or knowledge.

 

Vandalism at the 100 block of Heatherwood Road on 7/22 @ 0619 hours - side mirror was smashed and a screw was in the tire.

 

Vandalism at the 200 block of Oxford Hill Lane on 7/22 @ 1817 hours - Victim reported that the tires on his vehicle were damaged.

 

Theft at Super Fresh (1300 block of West Chester Pike) on 7/23 @ 1736 hours - Loss prevention reported that he had an employee in custody that had been caught taking money from the cash register and stealing DVD's. Stephanie Jean was arrested and charged.

 

Disorderly Conduct at the 500 block of Twin Oaks Drive on 7/22 @ 2216 hours - Victim reported that eggs were thrown at her as she was walking down the street by a passing vehicle. The victim did have a description of the vehicle and the license plate number. The officer conducted a vehicle stop and a W/M/16 and a W/M/17 admitted to throwing the eggs. The two males were cited for disorderly conduct.

 

Theft at Haverford College (300 block of Lancaster Avenue) on 7/23 @ 1326 hours -Police were dispatched for a cell phone theft that occurred. College security followed the suspect until police arrived. Matthew Pope was arrested and charged.

 

Fraud at the 100 block of Gilmore Road on 7/23 @ 1536 hours - Victim reported that an unknown person made purchases on three of his credit cards without his permission or knowledge.

 

Vandalism at the 1100 block of Garfield Avenue on 7/23 @ 2153 hours - handicapped parking sign was bent.

 

Vandalism at the 500 block of Brookline Boulevard on 7/24 @ 0941 hours - vehicle was keyed.

 

Narcotics at West Chester Pike and Glen Gary Drive on 7/24 @ 0100 hours - While conducting a vehicle stop the officer observed an open bottle of alcohol on the floor of the vehicle. The officer also observed marijuana in the vehicle. Paul Horiel and Erick Bradford were arrested and charged.

 

Bicycle Theft at the 300 block of Brookline Boulevard on 7/25 @ 1130 hours.

 

Bicycle Theft at Sacred Heart Church (100 block of N. Manoa Road) on 7/25 @ 1251 hours.

 

Burglary (forced entry) at the 800 block of Powder Mill Road on 7/26 @ 1341 hours.

 

Burglary (no force) at Waterford Apartments (1900 block of Lawrence Road) on 7/26 @ 0134 hours.      

 

Disorderly Conduct at the 500 block of Twin Oaks Drive on 7/26 @ 2201 hours - Victim reported that her house was egged by a group of juveniles. Officers were able to track down the suspect, a w/m/15 and he was reprimanded and released to his mother.

 

Robbery (strong arm) at Hathaway Lane and Belmont Avenue - Victim reported that he was robbed and assaulted by four black males. The suspects kicked him in the face and threw his scooter at him when he resisted. The officer did locate three subjects matching the description given by the victim. Carlos Valentine, Corey Richardson and a B/M/18 were arrested and charged.

 

Theft at the 700 block of Beechwood Drive on 7/27 @ 1944 hours - Cash and flatware was stolen from the residence.
