Police Officer Applicant Minimum Requirements

General Qualifications:

·         Minimum age 21, US citizen, high school graduate (or equivalent), possess a valid driver's license, good physical condition. Must be able to perform essential job functions and complete a competitive process consisting of; written exam, oral interview, physical agility test, physical examination, psychological examination, polygraph examination and background investigation. There is no residency requirement.

                 

                  NOTE: To apply applicants must:

 

o        Have a Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officers Education & Training Commission (MPOETC) Act 120 certification or be currently enrolled in a Pennsylvania MPOETC Act 120 training program.
