Home Invasion / Robbery Suspect 
100 Block of South Manoa Rd 

 Home Invasion 
 On 24th 2007 at 2306 hrs, the Haverford Township Police Department, responded to a residence in the 100 block of S. Manoa Road for a report of a home invasion / robbery that had just occurred.  The suspects were last seen fleeing the home and entering a two toned silver over blue vehicle which was last seen headed towards West Chester Pike.  The vehicle displayed a registration plate with a dark background and light colored numbers.  One of the B/M suspects was reported to be in possession of a black semi-automatic handgun which was used in the robbery.  The suspects were described as: Two (2) B/M's in their 20's last seen wearing black clothing and black wool caps.

 Upon arrival police units were met by a W/F/60 who was the resident/victim, she stated that she was home with her husband at the time of the incident.  The victim stated she heard a knock on the front door. When she answered the door, two B/M's forced their way into the residence.  One of the B/M's was carrying two pizza boxes. The suspect dropped the boxes and struck the victim in the head causing her to fall to the floor.  The victim stated that the second B/M suspect then went upstairs where he encountered the second victim/resident W/M/78.  The second suspect was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.  The suspect struck the male victim several times in the head, causing him to fall to the floor.  The B/M then ransacked several drawers in the bedroom and removed numerous items including jewelry.

 

The suspects then fled the residence and were observed by witnesses running down the street to Euclid Avenue, where they were observed getting into a two toned silver over blue vehicle, which was occupied by two additional B/M suspects.  The vehicle had been parked on Euclid Avenue with the engine running, facing towards Columbus Avenue.  Witnesses reported that the vehicle had what sounded to be loud exhaust pipes and displayed a registration plate with a dark background and light colored numbers.  The vehicle was last seen headed east on Columbus Avenue towards West Chester Pike.

Armed Robbery Suspect

Wednesday, July 12th 2006 at 1430 hours, the Haverford Township Police Dept. responded to the Llanerch Country Club located at 910 West Chester Pike, Havertown  PA for a report of an Armed Robbery that had just occurred. 

The preliminary investigation revealed that 2 B/M suspects entered the Club House wearing nylon stocking masks, each displaying a Silver handgun.  The subjects entered a Club House office and ordered the employee to the ground. The suspects took an undetermined amount of cash and fled the building. The Country Club employee was unharmed.

 

The first actor is described as: Black male, approximately 25-30 years old, bushy hair, facial hair, stocky build, wearing a yellow shirt with a design, jeans.

 

The second actor is described as: Black male, mid-late twenties, wearing a blue shirt, jeans

 

The actors were operating a shiny dark-colored, possibly blue, older model Cadillac sedan, described as "loud."

 

The victims/witnesses were able to provide enough information to develop the below composite sketch which is available for press release upon request.

The Haverford Township Police Department has identified the suspect responsible for the armed robbery that occurred on January 12th 2006 at the Bakery House, 604 West Lancaster Avenue, Bryn Mawr, PA (IRN 06-731)

 

A warrant of arrest has been approved for Ernesto Romero (pictured below), charging him with the armed robbery.  The suspect has an extensive history of prior violent crimes, and should be considered extremely dangerous  DO NOT attempt to apprehend, if encountered, CALL 911 immediately.  He is believed to be in possession of a black handgun.

 

Romero is also is a strong suspect in the March 2nd robbery of the From Me to You store, 2124 Darby Road, as well as other area robberies. He is also being sought on a warrant by the Philadelphia Police on charges that include robbery and attempted murder. He has previously resided in Lower Merion and Upper Darby Townships, and has prior arrests in Delaware County.

 

Romero may be operating a unknown color 1992 Ford Escort sedan, Pennsylvania registration GGX2919, or possibly  a unknown color 1988 Chevrolet Cavalier coupe, Pennsylvania registration FBT6302,.

Armed Robbery Suspect
From Me 2 You Store 2125 Darby Rd.

 
 

On Thursday March 2nd 2006 at 1807 hours, the Haverford Township Police responded to the From Me 2 You store located at 2124 Darby Rd. in the Oakmont Section of Haverford Township for a report of a Robbery at gunpoint that had just occurred.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, mid 30%u20AC%u2122s, 5%u20AC%u21228", and 160 lbs., thin build with a thin mustache and brown eyes. The subject was last seen wearing a black waist length %u20AC%u0153puffy%u20AC jacket, black knit cap and blue jeans.

Bank Robbery Suspect

Monday, February 27th 2006 at 1334 hrs, the Haverford Township Police Dept. responded to 550 E. Township Line Rd. for a report of a Robbery that had just occurred at the Alliance bank located on the corner of Township Line Rd. and Earlington Rd in Haverford Township.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a B/M suspect entered the bank and handed a bank teller a note demanding money. The note further stated that there was a second subject waiting outside, and if the teller did not comply with the demand, the second subject would enter the bank and harm everyone. The teller handed the suspect and undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. The suspect then fled the bank and was observed entering Silver vehicle which then drove off headed North on Township Line Rd.

The actor was described as a B/M mid 20%u20AC%u2122s with a beard, wearing a dark colored New York Yankees Baseball cap, a white t-shirt, Black waist length jacket, Blue jeans and Tan work boots. The vehicle used was described as a Silver 4 door sedan possibly a Oldsmobile or Buick product.

The Haverford Police believe that the suspect who robbed the Alliance Bank Today is the same individual who was spotted in the bank on two earlier dates, posing as a potential customer. That suspect is pictured below. The Haverford Police are requesting assistance in identifying the suspect.

There is a fugitive warrant for the arrest of Michael Dennis O%u20AC%u2122Connor. O%u20AC%u2122Connor is responsible for numerous fraudulent returns at Staples stores in over ten states. He made a fraudulent transaction on November 7, 2005 in the Havertown Staples store. It is believed that O%u20AC%u2122Connor has made over $8,000.00 worth of fraudulent returns over a two month period. O%u20AC%u2122Connor is a career criminal and has been arrested in the past for firearm violations.

O%u20AC%u2122Connor occasionally travels in the company of two unidentified white males. O%u20AC%u2122Connor is wanted for Theft by Deception, Forgery, Receiving Stolen Property and Tampering with Records.

A felony warrant of arrest was approved for Ralph Guy Jr. Guy is wanted for cashing fraudulent checks and identity theft. Guy is responsible for two fraudulent acts in our township and is currently traveling across the country committing more criminal acts. It is believed that Guy is part of an identity theft ring responsible for over $150,000.00 worth of fraudulent activity. Guy may be accompanied by an unidentified heavy set middle aged B/F, who is believed to be his co-conspirator and girlfriend.

Guy has been observed in Ohio and Michigan. It is believed that he will eventually return to the Philadelphia area. Guy is a career criminal and has been arrested before for firearms violations. Several Federal agencies are interested in Guy%u20AC%u2122s activities and are investigating him for related crimes. Please contact the following law enforcement agencies if Guy is apprehended:

A warrant of arrest has been issued for Daniel Jaje, charging him with presenting a forged prescription for Oxycontin at Katz Pharmacy on December 19th 2005, and then attempting to pay with a counterfeit check the next day. He is wanted in several other jurisdictions for similar crimes.
