ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability (originally 'International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives') - "ICLEI provides technical consulting, training, and information services to build capacity, share knowledge, and support local government in the implementation of sustainable development at the local level." Haverford Township is working with ICLEI to make our community greener.

Haverford Township's Environmental Advisory Committee - Comprised of a volunteer from each of the 9 wards in Haverford Township, the Environmental Advisory Committee is committed to engaging the community in a move toward greener living. The committe actively supported the Climate Action Plan and has sponsored educational events.
