9th Ward Commissioner - William F. Wechsler

Bill Wechsler has been a Township resident since 1986, and was first elected Commissioner in 2008.  He and his wife Betsy have four daughters and three grandchildren.  Bill graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point after attending St. Dorothy Grammar School and St. Joseph's Prep.

Bill's goal is to continue to make Haverford Township America's Best Hometown.  Effective planning and working together with civic groups and other government entities is a top priority.

Developing, maintaining and expanding local businesses as well as first class facilities and services for our residents are major objectives.
