8th Ward Commissioner - Chris Connell, Sr.
Chris Connell and his wife, Michele, are lifelong residents of Haverford Township. Their 5 children, ranging from college age to middle-school age, are 3rd generation Haverfordians. Chris has been a small business owner in the township since 1991.
Over the past 35 years, he has served the community with the volunteer fire and EMS Service, civic youth programs and municipal boards such as the Haverford State Site Planning Committee, Planning Commission and the Skatium Advisory Board. It is fitting that today he continues to dedicate himself to our community as the 8th Ward Commissioner of Haverford Township.
Chris' philosophy on government and community concerns is, "This is not a me thing, this is a we thing. Together, we will continue to keep Haverford Township's high quality of life for generations to come".
