The Skatium is owned and operated
by Haverford Township
celebrating 36 years of service to the community
             
Skatium Facts:
 opened September 20,1974
 membership was first limited to Township residents only
the Skatium name came from a Township-wide contest
 the winner was 12 year old Michael Steinberg
 the cost to build the facility was $1.5 million 
 the mortage was paid off in 1994
the Skatium's first Director was Dennis Ott
 the Skatium has been Voted the Best Place to Skate
and play Ice Hockey
 
the Skatium is the home of:
 Haverford Hawks Youth Hockey
 High School Hockey
 St. Joe's University College Hockey
 Delaware County Skating Club
